Travel Should Feel Like a Story — Not a Schedule
Hi, I’m Jessica.
I plan thoughtful, immersive whiskey and wine journeys for people who love great experiences… but don’t love chaos.
If you’ve ever found yourself stuck behind a tour guide holding a neon flag, being herded onto a bus, eating at the “approved group restaurant,” and wondering how this became your vacation — we should talk.
Because that’s exactly what I don’t do.
How This Started
Travel has always been personal for me.
Some of my favorite memories include:
Visiting my hometown of Seattle and seeing it through fresh eyes
Walking into historic distilleries and hearing the grain-to-glass story firsthand
Tasting wine in small family-run estates where the winemaker pours it for you
What began as a passion (okay… maybe an obsession) with whiskey, wine, and off-the-beaten-path travel slowly turned into something bigger.
I realized I didn’t just love traveling — I loved designing the experience.
The pacing.
The hidden restaurants.
The quiet boutique hotel that feels like it was made just for you.
The distillery tour that requires planning months ahead — because the best ones always do.
What I Believe
I believe:
Luxury should feel approachable.
Great travel isn’t rushed.
The best stories happen when there’s space for them.
Small groups > large herds.
Quality > quantity.
A tasting room with 12 people beats a tour bus with 60.
You can love comfort without loving crowds.
And yes… I still strongly dislike buses, flags, and chaos.
What I Actually Do
I design custom travel experiences centered around what you love most.
For many of my clients, that means:
Boutique hotels with character
Private or small-group distillery tours
Wine tastings that don’t feel commercial
Walkable towns and scenic backroads
Intentional pacing (no 12-city-in-9-days madness)
But it doesn’t have to be whiskey or wine.
It’s about creating a trip that feels like you — whether that’s hiking, coastal drives, food experiences, or a perfect balance of exploration and downtime.
Every itinerary is curated, story-driven, and built with intention.
A Little More About Me
I’m based in Atlanta, but I grew up in Seattle. I’ve celebrated milestone anniversaries in Italy, planned immersive hiking itineraries in Switzerland, toured distilleries in Japan and the U.S., and built trips around small towns most people drive past.
Before EverLight Travel, I built a marketing agency - JJ Social Light. So strategy is in my DNA.
That means your trip isn’t just “pretty.”
It’s structured, optimized, and carefully designed — without ever feeling over-engineered.
You get the experience.
I handle the logistics.
I also own an Airbnb called EverLight Escape — a mountain property designed to feel peaceful, intentional, and elevated. It’s another example of how I approach everything I build: thoughtful details, strong atmosphere, and experiences that feel personal.
And yes… Light is our last name.
But to me, it represents the way I do things — thoughtfully, intentionally, and with pride
Why EverLight Travel?
Because travel should feel elevated… but still warm.
Intentional… but not rigid.
Memorable… not manic.
No buses. No Buses. No Chaos
Just thoughtfully designed experiences that leave you with better stories, deeper connections, and maybe a new favorite bottle to bring home.
Ready to Plan Something Different?
If you’re craving a trip that feels curated instead of crowded, I’d love to help you design it.
Let’s create something worth remembering.
